Abernath

Abernath

The ruins of a small town. Once, Abernath was a relatively well off rural community. But upon the outbreak of the great FEC rebellion, the town found itself trapped in-between both Holder and FEC lines. As a result, almost any agriculture became impossible. A large amount of the buildings have been completely destroyed by the collateral damage of war. Although a decent amount of the population managed to escape to either United Human Government territory or FEC lands, many more are stranded in the ruins of the town, sheltering in ruined buildings, eating whatever rare food they can scrounge, never visited by passing traders of any kind. It's position as the closest town to Traitor Hill mean it's inhabitants often wake up to sight of a stray artillery shell killing one of their neighbors. The civilians are all trapped there, unable to leave and with no relief in site.

The living conditions are abysmal, with the prisoners being used for slave labor until they drop dead from starvation or exhaustion.

Camp Cooper

Camp Cooper

Camp Cooper is a desperately impoverished tent city located outside the gates of Sequest. It's inhabitants are those that were denied entry into Sequest, and had nowhere else to go. A decent amount of it's inhabitants are still waiting for paperwork from the capital, not allowed into the city until it's finished. All around the camp one can find tents full of raggedy faces, some selling whatever they can scrounge, some knelt in prayer, yet almost all hopeless.

Copper Road Trading Offices

Copper Road Trading Offices

The Copper Road Trading Company, often shortened to just the Copper Road, is humanity's most prominent trade and transport company. Based out of Plemet, Copper Road facilitates the transportation of goods across human territory. It's well guarded caravans traverse the lands, fending off criminals and on some routes, even attacks from the darkness. They also have a good relationship with the government , allowing them some privileges. They are often used to transport goods to Holder bases and forts, though not the Sisterhood of Blood, who only allow their supply lines to be staffed by members of their own order, or at least Holders. Because of relationship the company enjoys with the government, as well as the dangerous routes they often take to get supplies to Holder bases, they are permitted to keep firearms for their employees. They're main office is located in Plemet, and is a somewhat common spot for mercenaries trying to find a legal line of work.

The soldiers themselves are often disatistied with their circumstances, as many of them are picked off by roaming criminal hordes or killed by FEC militias. To get accepted into the school is a universal accomplishment, signifying a good education. The ciriculum includes varying advanced topics, and is staffed by several leading geniuses in their fields. Part of it's prestige comes from it's exclusively, as only the very rich can afford to send their children. Of course, it is possible for one with powerful connections to send a juvinline to the school, regardless of wealth.

Serena City Square

Serena City Square

The main city square in Serena where it's many inhabitants can gather

Serena Sisterhood Quarters

Serena Sisterhood Quarters

This concrete building stands as a distant outlier from the lavishly decorated apartments that surround it. It serves as the main office of the Sisterhood of Blood in Serena. Due to the size and improtance of Serena, the Sisterhood has often used it to gather supplies and recruits, much to the Holder's displeasure. Because of this utility, the Sisterhood has this building to manage it's operations in the city. It has training grounds, a small barracks, requisition area, and all the expected facilities. Usually, the sisters stationed here are either fresh recruits, or wounded veterans. In either case, they often find the assignment to the post boring, sometimes going around to "fight crime" around the city, though how many of the so called crimals they persecute are the genuine article is up for debate, the sisters being made for combat instead of policing and all.

Siblings of Virtue

Siblings of Virtue

This statue in the center of town comemerates Japle's proudest achievement. It depicts a Sister of Blood and a Holder Ranger, both fighting back to back. The two soldiers depicted are Haley and Chris Youl, respectively. Decades ago, the two siblings enlisted in their respective orders, with Chris being the first from the town to be a Ranger, and Haley being the first person from the town to be a sister. The pair were sent their separate ways for a couple of years, until Haley was wounded in combat, and sent to a town near the Frontline to recover. Coincidentally, Chris happened to be on leave in the same city at the same time. The pair would reunite, but an incoming attack of Darkness monsters ruined the moment. The siblings ordered the small Holder garrison force to evacuate the city, whilst the two singlehandedly held back the oncoming tsunami of monsters. Though the pair were never seen again, they undoubtedly saved countless lives.

Silver Gatehouse

Silver Gatehouse

The only way into or out of the Frontier Academy. It's named silver Gatehouse ironically, in reference to the harsh training that lies inside

Spire of Hope

Spire of Hope

The Spire of Hope is sometimes said to be the most symbolically important of all human buildings. Within the vast halls of the large building, swarms of the highest tier of the human administrative government communicate with local representatives from across human controlled territory. The building is the head of the human government, and from it comes the biggest concentration centralized power, even over the Holders.

The Graveyard

The Graveyard

Located in a sparely populated section of Human Controlled Territory, the Graveyard is considered a death sentence for most soldiers. It's location near both the Darkness and the Free Eastern Conclave mean that the soldiers stationed to the fort are never safe, constantly beset on all sides by human and supernatural alike. This makes being deployed here a virtual death sentence, thus leading to its name. However, to compensate for this, the Holders have a policy that anyone can volunteer to be stationed there, and if they survive for 18 months, they receive instant honorable discharge, and a massive discharge bonus. Though many young soldiers take up the offer, most lose there enthusiasm within weeks of arrival to the Graveyard, and only a handful get to take up the offer. To make up for the high casualties rates, the Holders also deploy several legions of penal battalions, made up of violent criminals the civilian administration pressed into military service.

The Raptor Cage

The Raptor Cage

One of the two headquarters of the Sisterhood of Blood, this tall and dark building is technically the main base of the Sisterhood. They usually outsource most direct combat matters to Blood Rock. Instead they usually handle matters of logistics, propaganda, recruiting, and so on. They are still the main base of the Sisterhood though, and as such will give new combat orders as they see fit. Most of the sisters assigned here, especially the less senior ones, believe assignment to the Cage as a disappointment, locking them away from a chance to die in battle. Because of this, the sisters assigned here spend most of their time training and patrolling the already crime-free streets around their building, eagerly pouncing on anyone they deem as suspicious. Usually, the streets around them are left empty as a result of this, as those wrongly accused of crimes by the Sisterhood are seldom acquitted

The Silver Square

The Silver Square

Plemet's most famous feature, the Silver Square is a section of the city devoted entirely to day to day trade. It's vast market stalls and shops are only part of the spectacle, as various citizens also take to the street to sell and buy whatever goods they have or need. It's said that a person can find anything at the Silver Square, regardless of it's legality or rarity. Tourists from across the Human Controlled Territories come to see and partake the chaotic barters.

The Treacherous Scarecrow

The Treacherous Scarecrow

The Treacherous Scarecrow is an infamous landmark, located atop a hill on the Frontlines of the FEC. Several months ago, a sister of Blood who had been deep behind darkness controlled territory with her squad was pronounced missing and presumed dead. In fact, she had survived the ordeal, and made it back to human territory later. The problem was, the Sisterhood of Blood usually don't operate as far east as she was, and she had been gone so long that she didn't know about the Free Eastern Conclave's revolt. When she came across a small town in the region, she realized that they were rebels, and attacked the town not realizing the townsfolk were only part of a much larger rebellion. The town called in FEC support, and after two hours of fighting, Sister Marida was finally killed. The Sister's armor was taken off and put on display along the lines of the Holder controlled territory, as a way to lower the morale of the soldiers there.

The Wolf Den

The Wolf Den

A camp of criminals who have been raiding civilian targets in the east since the chaos caused by the FEC gave them an opportunity. The Wolf Den is a massive hive of scum and villainy, as well as a sort of marketplace for stolen and illegal goods. The biggest crimal hordes are based here, yet the FEC and Holders are so busy with one another, neither can spare the resources to clear out the Den.

Traitor Hill

Traitor Hill

Traitor Hill, named so by the Holder Commandos who first found it whilst scouting the area, is the first line of defense for the FEC against the United Human Government. The fortress was quickly constructed by the rebels upon the start of their rebellion, and is almost impenetrable to a frontal assault. It's high ground allows it to spot any large approaching Holder forces. It's massive artillery arsenal allows it to devastate any spotted Holder armies that attempt to approach it. It's location is in a intersection of the several valleys that connect the far eastern section of the human occupied world to the rest of it. This location allows it to easily move supplies whilst blocking virtually all access to the bulk of FEC territory to Holder forces. The fortress has become a major roadblock to the understaffed Holders based out of Fort Stanford, as they lack the required resources and manpower to actually take Traitor Hill.

Tyroth Armory

Tyroth Armory

The main armory of fort Tyroth. Equipped with everything from rifles to artillery.

Wolf Den

Wolf Den

Although not an official term, the Wolf Den refers to the cabin typically occupied by the most zelous and cruel Sisters in training at Frontier Academy.

Wretha

Wretha

A couple of years ago, Wretha was a sparling metropolis, with a large population, big industry, and strong economy. That was, until the darkness arrived. They turned the peaceful city into a graveyard. Holder forces were already stretched thin at the time of the attack, and as such they couldn't commit enough forces to save or even evacuate the city. Hundreds of thousands of civilians fled further into human territory. All the rest were lost with the city, which has become an ominous hotspot of monsters and demons.
