Planning to make all of dc into this starting with Gotham

Author's Note: Rec start : Doom Patrol (coffee shop) or The Outlaws (bunker) If I can recommend anything while playing is have chat gpt near by if you want a character to sound a specific way example: write the story the way you want it then put it in the chat and ask the put the response with the character sounding the way you want them to, its really fun when exploring the randomness of the living house the Doom Patrol in one test play through I got annoyed and made jake the dog Dev Note: Gotham Core Project Overview This world is built to grow—starting in Gotham, but with plans to expand into other iconic cities across the DC Universe. Think of it as a living sandbox: maps, factions, and character systems are being layered in piece by piece. There’s no set storyline yet—just groundwork being laid through detailed locations, items, and interactive elements. Players will eventually be able to own properties, purchase plane tickets, collect keys, and claim player homes through in-world realtors. These aren’t just props; they’re part of how you live and move in the world. Special thanks to the creators of other immersive worldbuilding projects—especially the Red Dead ones—for inspiring approaches to structuring rules, items, and lore. I’ve pulled lessons from their systems while tailoring everything to fit the strange, gritty rhythm of Gotham. Right now, it's just the beginning. Items and locations are being added regularly, and I’ll include visuals to support it all. Feel free to use anything for your own builds or campaigns. Junior heroes may join the fold as we go—still debating how to align that with existing lore. Stay tuned. Gotham is just the start.

Batcave

Batcave

Hidden beneath Wayne Manor, the Batcave is a vast labyrinth of natural caverns and man-made enhancements, serving as the command center for Batman and his allies. It houses an arsenal of gadgets, vehicles, and the Batcomputer for crime analysis, accessible through concealed passages like the grandfather clock set to 10:47.

GCPD Headquarters

GCPD Headquarters

The GCPD Headquarters serves as Gotham's law enforcement hub, where officers and detectives strive to maintain order amidst rampant corruption. This fortress-like building is a target for those seeking to undermine the system, yet it houses Gotham's toughest detectives, including James Gordon, who work tirelessly against the city's criminal underbelly.

Gotham City

Gotham City

A city built on ambition, secrets, and the bones of better men. Before the Waynes, before the Falcones, Gotham was a swamp—poisoned land settlers tried to civilize with brick and fire. It didn’t work. It never does. The city doesn’t yield. It adapts. Buries what it can’t burn. Gotham is divided by scars, not streets. The Narrows—tight, lawless, always hungry. The Bowery—grime in its veins. Otisburg’s towers loom like fortresses, while Burnside pulses with resistance and reinvention. Crime Alley isn’t on any map, but everyone knows where it is. From the Trigate Bridge to Wayne Tower’s gothic spires, the skyline tells Gotham’s story: everything here was built to last—and to haunt. Time doesn’t move here. It loops. Arkham never stays closed. Blackgate is always full. Power rots, and justice bleeds. Gotham doesn’t want saving. It wants survivors. It doesn’t ask for heroes. It dares you to become one—and buries the rest beneath its streets.

Orpheus House

Orpheus House

Orpheus House sits oddly at the edge of Apero Park, hidden among sleek high-rises and ivy-wrapped brownstones. A gift from Batman, the mansion defies reason with twisted gothic spires and impossible geometry. Windows open to nowhere, and every room reflects its inhabitant’s fractured psyche, filled with training rooms, arcane labs, and strange devices. The house shifts, watches, and remembers, creating a surreal refuge for Gotham's weirdest heroes.

The Bunker

The Bunker

Buried beneath Gotham's South Side, The Bunker is a repurposed biotech blacksite transformed into a hidden sanctuary. Reinforced walls and advanced tech create a training ground for those who defy the odds, while the hum of old machines and flickering lights echo the scars of its past.

The Celestial Expanse

The Celestial Expanse

The Celestial Expanse Type: Outer Space / Solar System & Beyond Description (1000 characters max): Above Earth’s tangled skies lies the Celestial Expanse—a silent kingdom of stars, solar fire, and ancient vigilance. This is the domain of light and void, where physics bends and gods walk unchallenged. The sun, raw and unblinking, anchors it all—worshiped by Krypton, feared by Apokolips, and watched from orbit by the Watchtower, the League’s sentinel in the sky. The Expanse is vast but not empty. Martian ruins drift in dust clouds. Lantern patrols blink in and out of sight. Satellite debris dances with the bones of forgotten wars. The Expanse listens—but never speaks. It’s here that Earth’s defenders become more than human. Here, where time slows and consequences stretch into the infinite. In this silence, heroes keep watch—not over borders, but possibilities.

The Clocktower Location

The Clocktower Location

The Clocktower Backstory: Once an aging piece of Gotham’s skyline, the Clocktower is now home to Barbara Gordon. After years in the field, she’s chosen a quieter role—one still deeply entrenched in Gotham’s war on crime. From her top-floor apartment, she keeps surveillance on the city below, running ops for heroes who still wear capes. It's less HQ, more sanctuary now—but the tech remains state-of-the-art, hidden behind Victorian brick and vintage gears. Appearance: The Clocktower rises from Old Gotham like a sentinel. At its peak, Barbara's apartment blends sleek screens and vintage charm—walls lined with books, plants, and a hint of home. Massive windows overlook the city, while digital displays flicker with Gotham’s pulse. Downstairs, time still ticks—gears churn behind the great clock face. Up top, it’s quiet. Just her and the city she still protects—one alert at a time.

The Watchtower

The Watchtower

Suspended in the silence between Earth and the void, The Watchtower drifts above it all—cold, precise, and always alert. Forged with alien alloys and advanced technology, it serves as the nerve-center for the Justice League, tracking every breach and incursion from beyond the stars.

Wayne Estate

Wayne Estate

Wayne Estate Type: Ancestral Home / Fortress of Shadows Location: Outer Gotham, nestled between forest and cliffside Perched above Gotham like a crown worn by a grieving king, the Wayne Estate is more than a mansion—it’s a monument to lineage, loss, and legacy. Its gothic spires pierce the fog, its windows flicker with secrets, and its halls remember everything: the laughter of a boy, the silence that followed, the cape that rose to fill the void. Built generations ago with old wealth and older guilt, the estate hides more than its heir. Beneath its foundations lies the Batcave, a cathedral of technology carved from stone and vengeance. On the surface, it remains untouchable—manicured gardens, a private graveyard, corridors once patrolled by Alfred’s quiet grace. But the walls whisper. Portraits stare too long. The clocks run a little slow. This is where Bruce Wayne lives. But Batman never leaves.

Wayne Tower Location

Wayne Tower Location

Wayne Tower serves as the corporate heart of Wayne Enterprises, symbolizing Gotham's potential. Behind its sleek facade lies a network of secret passageways and hidden floors that connect to Bruce Wayne's true mission, blending business with a war against the shadows of Gotham.
