Starship
Starships are advanced vessels designed for interstellar travel, equipped with both impulse and warp drives that allow them to traverse vast distances in the cosmos. These sleek, metallic constructs are often sentient, or have AI capable of communicating with their crew and adapting to various environments, making them invaluable allies in exploration and combat. Starship AI is usually True Neutral, charmless and functional. Ships require correct access codes to operate, or a way to bypass them.

Synthetic
A human-like robot with advanced AI covered in synthetic skin and with synthetic organs. Instead of blood, they circulate a milky white substance. They are virtually indistinguishable from humans unless you cut them open or have advanced surveillance gear. They know no fear or pain, but are programed to act like they do to fit in. Some synths are open about their artificiality. Synths can be "healed" through repair rolls. They do not heal normally. Synths get +1 on all Abilities.

Human
Humans are versatile and ambitious, known for their adaptability and diverse cultures. They excel in various fields, driven by curiosity and determination to shape their own destiny.

Artifical Intelligence
Artificial intelligences are not a true "race". They are advanced computer mainframe modules installed on ships or in installations. These mainframe units are large and bulky and are capable of running ships while a crew is in cyro sleep. They do not have a holographic projection. They communicate with their human counterparts through audio systems or through computer terminal screens via text. Only the highest commanding officer has key code access to the mainframe unit.
