Author's Note: As of now, i have finished a majority of the New World, and have added all weapons and factions, with a few extra classes. in the future, i aim to add the entire canonical monster hunter map AND all the monsters, as well as some other roles you can play. the campaign will gradually get bigger, and hopefully i can add as much as i can.

These are the incredibly dangerous caves, where the Diablos Species likes to make its nest. Situated underneath hollow sand, they can shoot out to the surface and catch a meal whenever they need to, or catch an unsuspecting hunter.

Dundorma is a town that appears in Monster Hunter 2 and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Located in the Schrade region, Dundorma lies east of Minegarde Town. Part of the town is in ruins from repeated attacks by elder dragons and other monsters. Despite its state of dilapidation, the Guild is attempting to reconstruct the town, and has retrofitted it with ballistae, two cannons and a Dragonator. It is ruled by a massive elder Wyverian referred to as His Immenseness.

the Guiding Recess is an area filled with lava and slight crystal formations. it is incredibly hot, and supports a free flowing river of lava.

The Guiding Vale is an area best described for its putrid effluvium and rotten corpses. it, like the other areas close by, is quite small.

Highest of the Highlands

Highest of the Highlands

The Highest of the Highlands is considered to be the utmost peak of not only the Coral Highlands, but also possibly the entire New World, even beating out the Ancient Tree. this area is so high up, the air begins to thin out, and the clouds form around this peak as it pierces through. this is where the Apex Predator typically stays, the most powerful monster in all of the Coral Highlands.

AI Overview Kamura Village is the main hub and starting location for Monster Hunter Rise. It's a scenic, mountain-side village known for its Tatara steel production and diverse surrounding areas. Hunters spend most of their time here, undertaking quests, crafting equipment, and interacting with colorful characters. The village also features essential facilities like the Smithy and Canteen.

The Lower Rotten Vale is known to be far more dangerous than the upper areas, mainly due to the fact effluvium covers the entire area. Effluvium is a dangerous gas that can suck the life force out of you just by you breathing it in. despite this, monsters have managed to evolve and even thrive in effluvium.

Middle Highlands

The Middle Highlands is considered to be the nesting grounds of a majority of monsters in the Coral Highlands. this is also where hunters will most likely battle large monsters.

Nergigante Nest

this area is the resting place for the Eater of Elder Dragons, Nergigante. Here, nergigante rests, brings food, and relaxes when not terrorizing Elder Dragons.

the Snowy Mountains are somehow even colder than previous snowy areas. mixed with this extreme cold and high winds, it sets itself as an incredibly dangerous place, in an already dangerous place. only flying Wyverns, like legiana can live up here.

the Snowy Plains is an area best known for its beauty, being more calm and peaceful than others. it houses a majority of the smaller monsters, with larger monsters only visiting occasionally.

The Steamworks are an outdoor based group of engineers that have created a massive machine that supplies heat to all of Seliana. by adding fuel into the machine, not only does it produce steam for Seliana, but it also provides randomized items for the hunter.

The Ancient Tree

The Ancient Tree is an absolutely massive tree, towering over everything else in the forest. it is so high, it even reaches the clouds in some points. it houses many flying monsters.

The Everstream

The Everstream serves as a point of interest in the New World, holding all the energy of it, and attracting various Elder Dragons.

The Great Ravine

The Great Ravine is a hazardous environment, with jagged cliff peaks and a dangerous drop. only the bravest of the Research Commission has ever dared to set foot here.

The Hidden Gem of the Wastes

The Hidden Gem of the Wastes

Away from the barren and desolate Wastes, is the nice greenery of this hidden area. this area, directly linked to the flow of water from the Ancient Forest, has some incredible fauna, as well as having the benefit of its water being clear and blue. some monsters prefer to make their nest here.

The Research Base

The Research Base is a completely wooden, ship-turned-lab base, where books line the walls, and a large throne made of books is at the very edge. this place is very vertical, with stairs and ladders going up and down all over the place.

The Special Arena

The Special Arena

The Special Arena, unlike the normal one, offers more challenge. high risk, high reward. in the special arena, hunters challenge monsters most would consider too dangerous to even gaze at. it comes equipped with state of the art weaponry, including cannons, harpoon launchers, and even a dragonator.

The Tradeyard

The beating heart of Astera, where all trading happens and most hunters find their amenities.

The Wastes

The Wastes

The Wastes is the general area in the Wildspire Wastes. it houses a majority of the monsters found in the Wildspire Wastes.

The Wilderness

The Wilderness

The Wilderness is the epicentre of the Ancient Forest, where almost all monsters, big and large, visit at least once. it is also where the base of the massive tree is.

Upper Highlands

The Upper Highlands is where most Flying Wyverns typically stay and create their nest. the air gets a little thinner up here, and coral is somehow even more abundant. the Upper Highlands is also far more elevated than the Lower and Middle Highlands.

The Upper Recess serves as the nesting area for a majority of Large Monsters in the Elders Recess.

Upper Rotten Vale

The upper areas of the Rotten Vale are relatively safe aside from a few roaming monsters and the occasional dropping monster corpse.

The Uragaan Tunnels are tunnels formed by the rolling action of Uragaans. the tunnels are completely made by Uragaans, so it houses its nest as well.

Vaal Hazak Nest

This area is the nest place for the incredibly dangerous Vaal Hazak. it is identified by its intimidating red hue covering the whole area, and mountain of monster corpses in the middle of the area.

This port town, bordering on the Great Desert, is a meeting place for all sorts of travellers, merchants, and hunters, looking to do business and gather information. Being built near the Great Desert where dangerous monsters like the Elder Dragon, Dah'ren Mohran, made their home, the town boasts an impressive fleets of sand ships and devices like the giant gong in the town square to keep such grand beasts at bay

Valley Arena

the Valley Arena is the battleground in which hunters can attempt to fight Safi'jiva. it is comprised of three layers, each other them being descended down to when Safi'jiva is sufficiently hurt.

Yukumo

A flourishing mountain village at the center of a valley where hot springs flow. The village is arranged on a three-tiered level system, with each section separated by a set of stairs. On the first level, a Blacksmith and General Store can be found, as well as the entrance to Yukumo Farm. On the second level is the Hunter's House, the Yukumo Village Chief, and the entrance to the Training School, as well as a Wandering Salesman and the path out of the village to the field. The Gathering Hall sits upon the top level and is the village's largest building. In addition to its hot spring attractions, the village also has an active forestry where high quality lumber is exported to neighbouring cities in the region. Until recently, the village had been secured by visiting Hunters who came to use the hot springs. However, because of an increased appearance of large monsters, the village has had to request a dispatch from the Hunter's Guild.
