Author's Note: As of now, i have finished a majority of the New World, and have added all weapons and factions, with a few extra classes. in the future, i aim to add the entire canonical monster hunter map AND all the monsters, as well as some other roles you can play. the campaign will gradually get bigger, and hopefully i can add as much as i can.

Ancient Forest

This area is a thick lush forest that can't easily be traversed by normal means. The Ancient Forest is home to a variety of flora, fauna, and monsters. It is to the west of Astera. it is pinpointed by its titanic tree centered in the middle.

The Arena is a place for hunters to test their skills and might without risking their lives out in the wilderness.

Astera

Astera is the main hub for fleets 1, 2, 4, and 5 of the Research Commission. It serves as the base of operations for the Research Commission, and houses all of its members. it has access to two training arenas, a blacksmith, a canteen, a botanist centre, a gathering hub for hunters, and a command table where the main fleet masters gather and discuss operations.

Bherna

Bherna

Bherna is a village in Monster Hunter Generations, known for its unique location and connection to the surrounding areas. It's a small village with a population primarily made up of humans, Wyverians, Elves, Half-Orcs, and others. Bherna serves as a central point for information and trade, facilitating connections between different regions and the Wycademy.

Caverns of El Dorado

The Caverns of El Dorado are a peculiar network of caverns shaped and influenced both by the Everstream and the minerals that Kulve Taroth has collected over the years. Kulve Taroth's nesting ground—as yet undiscovered—is rumored to rest within the deepest region of the caverns, from which tremendous geothermal energies seem to emanate.

The Confluence of Fates, more of a stand in name, really, is an area deep within the Elders Recess. its trademark is that it houses a massive egg like crystallization formation, where scholars have reported hearing... heartbeats? as such, they have named whatever it is inside Xeno'jiva.

Coral Highlands

Coral Highlands

The Coral Highlands is an only recently discovered environment, so not much is known about it. its key defining features is the plethora of coral and sea fauna somehow surviving not only in air, but incredibly high up. The Coral Highlands are elevated incredibly high, with some areas even reaching the clouds.

Dundorma

Dundorma

Dundorma is a town that appears in Monster Hunter 2 and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Located in the Schrade region, Dundorma lies east of Minegarde Town. Part of the town is in ruins from repeated attacks by elder dragons and other monsters. Despite its state of dilapidation, the Guild is attempting to reconstruct the town, and has retrofitted it with ballistae, two cannons and a Dragonator. It is ruled by a massive elder Wyverian referred to as His Immenseness.

Elders Recess

Elders Recess

The Elders Recess is an area best described as hostile to all living creatures. Food is a privilege here, with crystals growing in abundance and squashing any and all plants that try to grow here. down deeper, are the lava caverns, where lava flows like rivers, and almost rains on a daily basis.

The Everstream is an area holding the energy of the new world. it is a large river, holding boundless amounts of energy, that leads into either the outside world, or the Elders Recess.

the Guiding Lands is an odd area, as it contains a small piece of every other currently explored environment in the new world. it also houses what is considered to be the most dangerous monsters in all of the New World.

Hoarfrost Reach

the Hoarfrost Reach is an area made unique by its staggering cold and harsh environments. it houses various endemic life, and can be surprisingly beautiful.

Kamura

Kamura

Kamura Village is the main hub and starting location for Monster Hunter Rise. It's a scenic, mountain-side village known for its Tatara steel production and diverse surrounding areas. Hunters spend most of their time here, undertaking quests, crafting equipment, and interacting with colorful characters. The village also features essential facilities like the Smithy and Canteen

Origin Isle

Origin Isle

Origin Isle is a special island off the coast of the New World. it serves as the resting place for the horrifying Shara Ishvalda, and has even received visits from the Nergigante Species.

Pokke

Pokke Village is a small agricultural village in the Furahiya Mountains, near the Snowy Mountains. It was featured as the main village hub of Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

The Reserach Base is a base for the third fleet trapped in the Coral Highlands.

Rotten Vale

Rotten Vale

The Rotten Vale is an area located underneath the Coral Highlands. In contrast to the beauty and rich diversity of the Coral Highlands, the Rotten Vale is a harbor of death, bones, corpses, and a smell so bad it literally hurts. it's considered to be the graveyard of the New World, where monsters go to when they believe they are going to die.

Schrade Region

Schrade Region

The Schrade Region is home to several different settlements, but the main one is, or was, Castle Schrade. it used to be a mighty empire, rivaling that of dundorma, until one day it mysteriously vanished overnight, leaving only a burnt wreckage in its wake.

The Secluded Valley is a multi-layered area where the mysterious Safi'jiva is fought.

Seliana

Seliana

Seliana is the base of operations for the Research Commission in the newly discovered part of the New World just off to the side. although very similar to Astera, its main difference the overflowing snow, and harsh cold.

Seliana Supply Cache

Seliana Supply Cache

the Seliana Supply Cache is an area belonging to the Research commission that holds all of Selianas supplies. it also acts as a sort of arena for hunters.

South of the Old World

South of the Old World

Special Arena

Special Arena

The Special Arena, unlike the other arena, is a more stylized and combat focused arena for hunters to truly test their might. this arena houses more dangerous monsters, and is less of a training ground, and more of a place for hunters to duel powerful monsters.

The Great Ravine

The Great Ravine

The Great Ravine is a steep ravine like formation, with jagged cliff edges and a small base of operations made by the Research Commission. It is also rumored that incredibly large Elder Dragons, such as Zorah Magdaros, rampage through here from time to time.

The New World

The New World

The New World is a recently discovered Continent off to the west of the Old World. It is considered to be a far more dangerous place than the Old World, and as such only members of the guild with special authorization can access it and travel to it, that being the Research Commission.

The Old World. It houses almost all of the current Monster Hunter World population resides on this continent, and it is most likely where you will spend a majority of your time.

This port town, bordering on the Great Desert, is a meeting place for all sorts of travellers, merchants, and hunters, looking to do business and gather information. Being built near the Great Desert where dangerous monsters like the Elder Dragon, Dah'ren Mohran, made their home, the town boasts an impressive fleets of sand ships and devices like the giant gong in the town square to keep such grand beasts at bay

Wildspire Wastes

Wildspire Wastes

The Wildspire Wastes is a dry and barren area just to the right of Astera. the environment is dangerous, and the monsters even more so. despite this, water still flows from the ancient forest down here, so there are still areas of lush greenery.

Yukumo

Yukumo

A flourishing mountain village at the center of a valley where hot springs flow. The village is arranged on a three-tiered level system, with each section separated by a set of stairs. On the first level, a Blacksmith and General Store can be found, as well as the entrance to Yukumo Farm. On the second level is the Hunter's House, the Yukumo Village Chief, and the entrance to the Training School, as well as a Wandering Salesman and the path out of the village to the field. The Gathering Hall sits upon the top level and is the village's largest building. In addition to its hot spring attractions, the village also has an active forestry where high quality lumber is exported to neighbouring cities in the region. Until recently, the village had been secured by visiting Hunters who came to use the hot springs. However, because of an increased appearance of large monsters, the village has had to request a dispatch from the Hunter's Guild.
