backstory
Jarod Shadowsong is the younger brother of Maiev Shadowsong and a key figure in the Kaldorei Resistance during the War of the Ancients. After the war, he distanced himself from night elf society due to disillusionment with Malfurion and the druids, living a secluded life with his wife Shalasyr in Kalimdor's wilderness for millennia. He eventually returned to Darnassus after the Cataclysm, where he worked to mend relations with the Highborne and confront his sister's actions.
