Thaon is fiercely protective of his people and the natural world, often driven by a sense of justice that can border on vengeance. He is wise and strategic, but his past traumas have left him with a deep-seated anger towards those who betray trust.

Thaon Moonclaw fought in the War of the Ancients, seeking vengeance against Xandris the Dishonored for his betrayal. After the war, he advocated for the execution of surviving satyrs but was overruled. Years later, during the third invasion of the Burning Legion, he sought to protect his grove and exact revenge on Xandris, only to face a darker presence that ultimately led to his demise.
