Description

Blue dragons are powerful beings imbued with formidable magical abilities, their blue-white scales shimmering with an otherworldly glow. Once guardians of arcane knowledge, they were charged with maintaining the balance of magic in the world. Their tragic history has left them with a melancholic disposition, haunted by the loss of their kind during the War of the Ancients, yet still fiercely protective of the arcane. Their breath can unleash a deadly frost or arcane fury, making them formidable foes in combat.

Actions

Arcane Bolt

The blue dragon releases a bolt of pure arcane energy at a target it can see within 120 feet. The target must make a DC 19 Intelligence saving throw, taking 45 (10d8) force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Frost Breath

The blue dragon exhales a blast of freezing frost in a 60-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 18 Dexterity saving throw, taking 70 (20d6) cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Wing Attack

The blue dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or take 15 (2d6 + 8) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.
