Once the symbol of American progress, New York in 2077 had become a corporate-policed, war-driven metropolis, where AI-controlled governance, forced labor, and Vault-Tec’s silent preparations shaped every aspect of life. The Manhattan Preservation Zone housed America’s wealthiest elites, protected by automated law enforcement and corporate skyscrapers, while the outer boroughs were transformed into military testing grounds, war factories, and surveillance hubs. Fort Titan (The Bronx) conscripted thousands into power armor trials and cybernetic augmentation experiments, while the Union Industrial Zone (Queens) ran endless assembly lines of robotic soldiers and energy weapons for the war effort. Brooklyn, rebranded as the Liberty District, served as the eyes of the Eastern Commonwealth, where predictive AI law enforcement and propaganda networks controlled public thought. As war loomed, only those on Vault-Tec’s evacuation lists had any hope of survival.
