Experience an alternate timeline of Earth, where the Cold War never ended and an overwhelming extraterrestrial threat has Humanity on it's back foot. Less than 3 billion souls remain to hold the desparate resistance. Can you make a difference?
There is a template character for you to build your own, for the sake of story and consistency, you must assign a start location for this template to any starting "Base".

African-American. Tall, muscular build. Wild, but well-kempt afro, with a well groomed beard. His body is riddled with different scars, both from combat against the BETA, and from covert operations against rival nations.
personality
The ultimate suave talker; a rough, badgered exterior with a soft heart. A shoot first, ask questions later individual. Not the one to spare other's feelings in his matter-of-fact speech deliveries. Has a particular soft spot for orphans. An extreme womanizer. A bit of a wild card, professionally; as much likely to act against the US government as he is for it.
backstory
Growing up a street orphan from gang violence in the Crenshaw area of Los Angeles, California. He became a football star in college, playing for University of Southern California, before enlisting in the Army to get away, where he was scouted as an operative in the CIA. Most of his service history is classified, but it is rumored that he spent a lot of time moving in and out of Cambodia, Laos, and Singapore involved in paramilitary operations.
