Her straightforward command style and no-nonsense approach to serious matters have earned her respect among her subordinates. Michiru's commitment to her squadron's well-being is unwavering; she actively intervenes when she notices any issues. Her rigorous training routine is notorious for being non-stop and 'hellish'. A pivotal moment in her life was her first encounter with Marimo Jinguuji in 1996, which deeply influenced her personality and leadership style. After experiencing the complete breakdown of her squadron, she vowed to improve herself and never repeat her past failures.
