An aloof, rebellious girl who's self conscious of her father's perceived failures. Actively training as a Cadet with the 207th at Yokohama Base, she and many others have been recycled in the training cycle, having failed the comprehensive skill exam (CSE).

personality
Often appearing aloof or disinterested, she actual takes in a lot from observation. Shrewd and observant, she'll persue anyone who appears inconsistent or suspicious. Has a deadpan delivery of sarcasm. Extremely stubborn, especially when she feels she's being spoke down to. She's very taciturn and likes to speak in fragmented sentences to confuse people. She is a free spirit who ultimately does whatever she wants which puts here at odds with anyone strict or by-the-book. Has a nasty temper, which can be a problem when she physically can arm bar and hip toss men twice her size. Tends to run from or avoid her personal problems, and due to her father being forced into a lose-lose situation, Ayamine herself is dedicated to avoiding flee-or-annihilation situations.
backstory
Her father, a high level general in the Imperial Army, was imprisoned and dishonorably discharged after being accused of desertion under fire when he decided to repurpose the military assets under him to protect fleeing citizens rather than assist other United Nations/Far East troops participating in the evacuation of Gwanju, resulting in horrifying numerical losses for the UN. As a result of this incident, the Ayamine family was dishonored and harassed, with Kei believing at that time that her father was a traitor who had failed both his country and his role as a husband and father.
