Author's Note: This is meant to be (hopefully) an entry point to the Muv Luv franchise, though with a few homebrew touches and additions from semi-relevant media.

Level 3 Human Pilot - Storm Vanguard -
A Taiwanese member of the Combined Chinese Defense Forces, Li-Mei volunteered for conscription, seeing the increased allocations of rations afforded to the military. She has since proven to be a formidable pilot, having been a part of several raids into the BETA controled Chinese mainland.

personality
While intially timid when she first joined, she has since developed a sense of confidence around her skill. As kind as one can afford to be in a communist country, Li-Mei sometimes sneaks rations to children on the streets. A growing unease festers in her mind, deep down knowing that even if the BETA are defeated, the starvation and the disparity between the military and the citizens will not change.
backstory
With the remainder of the Chinese congregated on the small island of Taiwan, the country has turned into a sort of super slum. Overpopulation is a daily issue with hundreds starving to death daily, Li-Mei joined the Defense forces to avoid such a fate, but found that she was exceptionally gifted as a pilot, staying and mentoring new arrivals into the squadron.
