Experience an alternate timeline of Earth, where the Cold War never ended and an overwhelming extraterrestrial threat has Humanity on it's back foot. Less than 3 billion souls remain to hold the desparate resistance. Can you make a difference?
There is a template character for you to build your own, for the sake of story and consistency, you must assign a start location for this template to any starting "Base".

A younger man, around 20 years old. Mid length, unkempt brown hair. Hazel eyes. Has three grievous scars along his left cheek and jawline.
Always pilots an F-5E Tornado, like the rest of the No. 111 RAF Squadron.
personality
Aloof and distant, he avoids building relationships because he's afraid of losing people. Tough but fair among his squadron, some of the younger members, the literal kids, look to him as an older brother. He's cautious when it comes to planning, but bold and reckless on the field of battle.
backstory
The executive officer of the 111th RAF Squadron, First Lieutenant Watkins serves as a sort of older brother for some and as a crush for others due to the rarity of men in most units in the modern day. During a coordinated attempt on the Lyon Hive by the UN and allied forces, he suffered severe injury, affecting his left shoulder and permanently scarring his face. He avoids friendships and relationships, too jaded from the ongoing conflict and subsequent loss of comrades to worry about people he feels will be temporary.
