Description
Further developing the MiG-23, internally it was completely stripped and redesigned from the ground up, with a particular affinity for close in combat. The subsequent rework of the MiG-27 saw a remarkable improvement across the board from its precursor including ease of maintenance and heightened operational uptime, though by the time it was fielded in 1983, it was already considered outdated and inferior to Western TSFs available throughout the UN.
