Description
Hand-carried shields for TSF usage. Although different nations utilize unique models, they commonly feature reactive armor sections, which can be used to strike at larger BETA strains with devastating results, or purge away smaller strains that have latched on. Most are heavily reinforced and treated with an anti-laser coating to better aid in operations against the Laser-class, though any prolonged exposure to their beams (or multiple strikes) will burn through the shield in a couple seconds.
