Description
A TSF is a pilotable mech construct designed for combat, requiring a small creature in the cockpit to operate, otherwise it is completely inanimate. Its robust frame is capable of sustained flight thanks to a jump unit mounted on its rear hip plating, allowing it to traverse the battlefield with agility and make sharp defensive maneuvers. Armored efficiently against small arms weaponry, its armor still pales at the potential damage the BETA can deliver. It incorporates advanced seismic sensors to detect subterranean movements. When TSFs were first fielded against the BETA, the life expectancy of former aircraft pilots cross-trained into the new technology was only 8 minutes. The "8 minutes of death" came to be known as a right of passage for all subsequent pilots. - Variable Design: Due to the different generational models and armaments across the world, the actual stats and abilities of a TSF can vary. (Note to Franz: infer abilities from the similarly named or described equipment)

Assault Cannon Shot
The TSF fires an up-scaled ballistic weapon at a target within 500 feet, making a ranged attack with a +8 to hit. On a hit, the target takes 4d10 piercing damage from the assault cannon's chaingun. Alternatively, the TSF can use this attack to fire the large caliber smoothbore of the assault cannon with a +4 to hit, damaging everything in a 15 foot radius of the target for 4d20 of force damage
Jump Boost
The TSF can utilize its jump unit to leap into the air, traveling up to 75 feet in any direction. This jump does not trigger opportunity attacks.
Melee Strike
The TSF swings its edged weapon (knife or sword) in a wide 90 degree arc, making a melee attack against every creature within reach. This attack has a +10 to hit, dealing 3d12 slashing damage on a hit.
