Description
The Grappler Class is a formidable combatant among the BETA ranks, and also the most numerous, more so than even the Tank Class. Its large, fleshy, tailless scorpion-like body is equipped with two hyper-dense claws, enabling it to block most incoming damage from the front, as well as stabbing through most armor and material. It is one of the only known strains that actually burrows, so it is theorized that it is responsible for the maze-like tunnel networks under each Hive. - Ambusher: The Grappler Class has advantage on attack rolls against any creature it has surprised. - Burrower: The Grappler can burrow through unworked earth and stone. While doing so, it leaves a 90-foot-diameter tunnel in its wake. - Frontline Defense: The Grappler Class’s dense claws provide significant protection from the front. It has resistance to all damage from attacks originating from the front. However, it has vulnerability to all damage from attacks originating from the rear and sides (and above).

Burrowing Ambush
The Grappler can burrow into the earth and reappear within 50 meters of its original position, surprising any creature that is within range of its claws.
Claw Slam
The Grappler Class raises both claws before forcefully slamming them down to the ground, with a 20 foot reach for 6d8 + 6 of bludgeoning damage. This will automatically kill any creature small or smaller if it is not in a vehicle or TSF, regardless of health. The target must pass a strength check or be knocked prone.
Excavation Specialist
The Grappler can use its burrowing ability to create tunnels and ambush points. It can spend 1 hour to create a tunnel network within a 1-mile radius.
Stabbing Claw Strikes
Using its large claws, the Grappler claws jabs at a target with +9 to hit, reach 30 ft., one target. Hit: 4d6 + 6 piercing damage. Can be used twice in a turn against two targets in range.
