Description
Erected in 1978. Located in central Russia, the Surgut Hive is a Class 5 structure, meaning it can generate Heavy Laser class. As one of the first Hives raised on the Soviet Russian mainland, it was the focus of many targeted nuclear strikes by Russian forces. These nuclear rush tactics with TSFs would be attempted for five years before the USSR would ultimately abandon them, feeling the rapid costs of attrition amid unsuccessful attempts. BETA Hives must be eliminated in one of three ways: G-bomb detonation, infiltration and deployment of S-11 SD-SYSTEMs in the Hive Core, completion and deployment of Alternative IV and the XG-70 Susanoo.
