Muv Luv Alternative: Desparation

D
DamascusActual

Immerse yourself in mankind's struggle against the BETA, piloting large mechs to even the odds.

Author's Note: This is meant to be (hopefully) an entry point to the Muv Luv franchise, though with a few homebrew touches and additions from semi-relevant media. Experience an alternate timeline of Earth, where the Cold War never ended and an overwhelming extraterrestrial threat has Humanity on it's back foot. Less than 3 billion souls remain to hold the desparate resistance. Can you make a difference? There is a template character for you to build your own, for the sake of story and consistency, you must assign a start location for this template to any starting "Base". Update: - Minor tweaks to the map, addition of Iceland, Arabian Peninsula, and UK (as declared areas) - New factions - New factions assigned to relevant locations. NEEDS: - Additional characters - Faction assignment for character roster - Timeline and plot lore (pending F&F lore tool update) *CONFIRMED COMING SOON

Description

A one-of-a-kind, artificial human being, for use with the XB-70 Susanoo in accordance with Alternative IV plans. The specifics are unknown, but it is suspected that it was possibly created through advanced cybernetics. The goal was to develop a system of communication using a recovered disembodied brain from the recapture of the Yokohama Hive. By placing the brain in a purely synthetic body, the BETA shouldn't recognize her as a carbon-based life form (which they don't believe is truly life).
