Remnants of humanity cling to survival. Infernal and abyssal creatures compete for dominion

Author's Note: Apollo (possible PC) is responsible for a catastrophic failure in safeguarding the material plane, attracting fiends from the lower planes and inviting the blood war into the material plane. Still a WIP. Points of interests and Areas incomplete

Description

Dis, also known as the City of Iron or the Second Layer of the Nine Hells, is a vast, industrial metropolis that serves as the heart of industry in the Nine Hells. It's a place of brutal efficiency, rigid order, and unwavering control enforced by Dispater, the Lord of Dis.

Appearance

Sprawling Fortification: Dis is a vast, metallic city built upon a plateau and surrounded by jagged mountain ranges. Imagine a labyrinthine cityscape of iron walls, towering fortresses, and smokestacks spewing infernal fumes. Heart of Industry: Forges churn out infernal weaponry, legions of devils train for war, and the rigid hierarchy of Baator is enforced with an iron fist. Brutal Efficiency: Buildings are utilitarian and imposing, streets are meticulously planned, and movement of people and resources is strictly controlled. Iron Tower: At the center sits the Iron Tower, the seat of power and the residence of Dispater, the Lord of Dis. Devils: Dis is primarily populated by devils associated with order and discipline, such as Hell Wardens, Barbed Devils, and Chain Devils. Outsiders: Some non-devils might find themselves in Dis, always on guard in this dangerous environment.
