After The Conquest

Aegonfort is a historic motte-and-bailey castle atop Aegon's High Hill at the Blackwater Rush mouth, featuring a towering log keep with 50-foot walls and a vast smoky longhall housing the Iron Throne. The fort includes a stone kitchen, stables, granary, watchtower, barracks, armory, sept, and drum tower within its palisade, though it is smaller and less comfortable than Dragonstone.

The fort rises prominently on a high hill, with massive wooden walls and a tall log keep dominating the skyline. The longhall beneath the keep is cavernous and smoky, while the stone kitchen with its slate roof, stables, and granary lie across the bailey. The watchtower soars above the palisade, and the various outbuildings cluster within the fortified enclosure, giving a rugged, functional medieval military look.
