Highgarden is a majestic castle that serves as the seat of House Tyrell, located on a broad verdant hill overlooking the Mander River. It is surrounded by three rings of white stone walls, with a famous briar labyrinth nestled between the outer and middle walls. The castle features a stunning sept adorned with stained-glass windows, a godswood with three ancient weirwoods, and lush gardens filled with flowers, fruits, and entertainment. The palatial keep is decorated with statues and colonnades, making it a symbol of chivalry and beauty in the Reach.

Highgarden is characterized by its tall, slender towers and squat, square structures from the Age of Heroes. The castle is draped in ivy, climbing roses, and grapes, with vibrant fields of golden roses stretching beyond its walls. The atmosphere is lively with singers, pipers, and harpers, while pleasure boats glide along the Mander.
