The central stronghold of House Tully, built at the junction of three rivers, forming a natural moat. It serves as both a fortress and the living quarters for the ruling family, their retainers, and elite guards. The Triangle Keep is the heart of Riverrun and the seat of House Tully's power. It functions as a defensive bastion, noble residence, and political center. War councils are held here, lords are received in audience, and the Tullys govern the Riverlands from this vantage point. It includes living quarters, the Lord’s solar, war rooms, and hidden escape routes connected to the rivers.
The Triangle Keep rises from a wedge of stone at the convergence of the Red Fork and Tumblestone rivers, with tall, narrow towers at each corner of the triangle. Its thick, gray stone walls are crenellated and moss-covered from constant river spray. The structure is visibly aged but formidable, with ironwood doors, high arrow slits, and banners bearing the silver trout flying from its towers. The water constantly laps against its base, making the keep feel both isolated and unassailable.
