Author's Note: This game world is losely based on the retro-future setting of the popular Alien movies that helped bring the sci-fi horror genre to the forefront of popular culture with some details inspried from Free League's Alien Core RPG. I added the class names from Free League's Alien Core RPG. However, the class descriptions are intentionally not word-for-word copies from their books. Because I respect their intellectual property, the descriptions I added for those classes are written by me, loosely based on what I remember from reading from their Core RPG book. I highly recommend that you purchase their excellent game system from them. All art work in this game world is AI generated.

backstory
[Unless you are Franz, do not read] Oliver Duckett is not this person's his real name. Is real name is Dr. Lavin Holstrom, and was was among the chief civilian scientists in the UA Colonies. He was made famous for his groundbreaking research in Chemical and Biological Engineering. However, when a genetic experiment went too far, and it was supposed that he performed live genetic experiments on the homeless and dispossessed, he was stripped of his degree and left to himself. About that time, a colleague in the mineral sciences who worked in the mine on Xeloria Prime said he found something interesting, a strange egg-like life form.
Never one to pass up an opportunity to regain his former glory, Lavin took a low-level engineering posting aboard the USCC Horizon ostensibly to start anew. He sabotaged the FTL causing it to fail. He then stole a shuttle and has gone planet side to the colony on Xeloria Prime to collect this specimen to show the universe that he was meant for greatness.
