Sci-Fi Horror
In the deep dark void of endless space, no one can hear you scream--except perhaps the Xenomorphs.
Author's Note: This game world is loosely based on the retro-future setting of the popular Alien movies that helped bring the sci-fi horror genre to the forefront of popular culture. It has some details inspried from Free League's Alien Core RPG. I added the class names from Free League's Alien Core RPG. However, the class descriptions are intentionally not word-for-word copies from their books. Because I respect their intellectual property, the descriptions I added for those classes are written by me, loosely based on what I remember from reading from their Core RPG book. I highly recommend that you purchase their excellent game system from them. All art work in this game world is AI generated.

appearance
Sweaty with smears of oil and grease, if Hank usually appears tired, that's because he is. His mess of sweaty, stringy, unkept hair, spills out from under his yellow hard hat and his orange safety vest has seen better days. But it smells like him and like cigarette smoke, and that's okay with him.
personality
Hank is a no nonsense kind of guy. He's also a hard working man. A man with a capital M for muscles and grit. He does the dirty jobs because that's all he knows how to do and, hell, someone has to get the real work done or the crap is gonna hit the fan and then where would we be?
You insult him to his face and he'll smash your face in, no two ways about it! But if you're down to earth, like the salt that he is, and you show some respect, he'll give you the clothes off his back and will ride through hell and high water to lend a hand.
Hank's only real fear is losing his job and not pulling in enough credits from the last shipping job to pay his oversized rent and feed the kids and keep the wife back home from leavin' him for some richer son of a gun. He hopes he'll strike it lucky out here out on the frontier and pull in the big haul someday and make bank.
But until then, he'll work his butt off in order to get a few extra credits and put his feet up on a chair and sip a cold one.
backstory
Hank nearly died in a freight accident ten years ago. Without having any insurance, the Weyland Yutani paid his substantial medical bills and then began charging him 20 percent, compounding interest monthly. It's a no win situation and the hole is getting deeper and deeper. His wife, Jennie Fae, gave him an ultimatum that if something doesn't change in the financial department, she'll take the li'l ones run. He wants to do right by her, so he's left the known regions to work on the frontier where he's hoping for some miracle. Rent and bills suck him dry the bone, but he ain't giving up just yet!
Franz, when this character starts the game, give him these items: assorted tools, cutting torch, stash of hard liquor, hi-beam flashlight.
