Author's Note: This game world is loosely based on the retro-future setting of the popular Alien movies that helped bring the sci-fi horror genre to the forefront of popular culture. It has some details inspried from Free League's Alien Core RPG. I added the class names from Free League's Alien Core RPG. However, the class descriptions are intentionally not word-for-word copies from their books. Because I respect their intellectual property, the descriptions I added for those classes are written by me, loosely based on what I remember from reading from their Core RPG book. Description

The Neophyte, a juvenile Neomorph, is a terrifying and agile creature that prowls the dark corners of the world. Ranging from 1.2 to 1.8 meters in length, this beast exhibits a fierce and aggressive hunting style. Although its head remains bulbous, it’s distinctively begun to elongate and taper to a sharp point, giving it an eerie appearance. With its formidable arsenal of attacks, it poses a significant threat to any adventurers who cross its path. The creature gets three actions in a turn.

Deadly Grab

The Neophyte attempts to grapple a creature within reach. If successful, it knocks the creature prone, restricts the target's movement, and drags it away into a different area. Victim must make an immeidate DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute.

Leaping Attack

The Neophyte can jump up to 15 feet as part of its movement and make a melee attack against a target, gaining advantage on the attack roll.

Tail Spike

The Neophyte lashes out with its spiked tail and impales its victim with its razor sharp tail.a sweeping attack, hitting all creatures within a 10-foot line for damage.

Terrifying Hiss

The Neophyte lets out a bone-chilling hiss that instills fear in its prey. Any creature within 30 feet must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute.

Throat Bite

The Neophyte tries to bite a target on their throat, dealing 1d12+2 damage. If target is grappled, it deals an extra 1d12+2 damage automatically.
