Description
The Xenomorph Facehugger is a grotesque creature designed to ensure the survival of its species. It ambushes unsuspecting prey, latching onto its host and implanting a fertilized embryo through the victims throat into their abdomen, thereby ensuring a new host for the Xenomorph lifecycle. With its eight crab-like fingers, the Facehugger can scuttle across surfaces, evading capture and closing in on its intended victim with terrifying stealth.

Embryo Implantation
The Facehugger targets a creature it has successfully grappled, forcing them to make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the victim becomes host to a Xenomorph embryo which grows into a Chestburster inside of the host. The Chestburster will burst from the hosts body in 24 hours time, killing the host, unless the vicitim is put into some kind of stasis. A Facehugger can also target animals.
Facehugging
As an action, the Facehugger can choose to grapple a creature within 5 feet of it. While grappling, the target must make a DC 12 Strength saving throw to escape. The Facehugger can maintain this grapple until the target escapes or it chooses to release.
Surprise Leap
If the Facehugger is unseen, it can make a surprise leap attack on a target, gaining advantage on its attack roll. If it hits, it automatically grapples the target.
