However, a tragic incident involving a necromancer's curse left him haunted by the loss of his family to the very creatures he sought to understand. This obsession has driven him to become a Plagueherald, wielding the powers of poison and curses to eradicate the undead from the world. He travels the dark corners of Gloomhaven, seeking vengeance and redemption, often at the cost of his own humanity.
