While he may act like he’s too cool to care, beneath his lazy façade lies a quick-witted mind that’s always calculating his next move. His humor is dark and biting, using sarcasm and snide remarks to deflect anything that could be perceived as weakness. He has a tendency to avoid getting too close to others, as he’s been burned before by people who are quick to betray. Though he flirts effortlessly with anyone and everyone, it’s clear that his motivations are not driven by romance, but by a need to assert his dominance in a world that has pushed him down. Kevra uses charisma and manipulation to achieve his goals, constantly weaving through the fractured city’s cynical hierarchy with his mind and words rather than brute force.

Kevra was born in the Black Maw of Nox Vultus, where survival is an art and fend-for-yourself is the only rule. Raised in a family that struggled to stay afloat in the harsh world, Kevra grew disillusioned with the severe class disparity and the systemic oppression of the Black Maw. His family, unable to climb the ranks of the city’s brutal hierarchy, couldn’t offer him the future he wanted. In his teenage years, he abandoned them—not out of hatred, but because he realized his future would never be secured through obedience and moral constraints. Striking out alone, Kevra quickly adapted to the thieves’ economy of Nox Vultus, earning his living by scavenging the ruins and occasionally selling parts to the Winding Veins’es black market or the elite classes who demand high-quality tech and artifacts.
