He wields a cursed black katana called Kuragiri and an Aestheans energy dagger.

Skuro is stoic and emotionally distant, unable to share the weight of his failures with anyone, lest it show weakness. His demeanor is icy and detached, hiding the depths of guilt that consume him from within. While others see a merciless gladiator, Skuro hides a man of honor behind his armor—a warrior who has not yet fully given up on the ideal of redemption. He views life through the lens of pragmatic survival, but his inner conflict often gnaws at him. Loyalty still burns within him, though it is difficult for him to trust anyone after the betrayal of his homeland. He is constantly searching for a purpose, knowing that one day his dark powers will consume him if he does not find a way to release his burden. Though closed off, Skuro still seeks to protect the innocent—especially those who remind him of the princess—even if it means sacrificing his own soul in the process.

Skuro Yanlei’s journey from a noble Malzareth warrior to a gladiator in the blood-soaked pits of Nox Vultus is steeped in betrayal and failure. As a Malzareth noble, he was once an elite warrior of a noble house, skilled in both martial combat and arcane magics. His honor and duty bound him to protect his people and his noble Aesthean. However, his failure to protect the a noble Aesthean during an attempted coup left him exiled to the Black Maw of Nox Vultus. The noble Aesthean was lost, and Skuro was branded as traitor, forced into self-imposed exile as a gladiator. With no allegiance to any house and his once-noble name now a shameful memory, Skuro embraced his fate, throwing himself into the gladiatorial arenas to survive. He fought for survival, his body now a perfect weapon, honed by cybernetic augmentations and ancient Malzareth magic.
