Description
Drowners are ghastly beings that resemble corpses dredged from the depths of a murky pond. Their skin is a sickly shade of blue or green, coated in slime and ooze with the foul aroma of decay surrounding them. Contrary to popular belief, drowners do not arise from the bodies of drowned humans, but are instead a distinct, primitive species perfectly adapted to their dank aquatic habitats. They are often found lurking near human settlements, preying on unsuspecting travelers who wander too close to their territory, revealing their true predatory nature when food is scarce.
