Description
The Drowned Dead are twisted remnants of the once-living, now drawn to water's depths by an insatiable hunger for vengeance against the living. Their presence is heralded by a chilling mist that coils around them, and they are often found lurking near desolate shores or the darkened corners of swampy waters. Though originally thought to be the spirits of criminals drowned as punishment, they are in fact more fearsome versions of the common drowner, possessing a malevolent intelligence that makes them even more dangerous.
