Description
Katakans are terrifying embodiments of human fear, lurking in shadows and feeding on blood. Resembling enormous bats with long fangs and even longer talons, they can turn invisible and wait patiently for the dread of their victims to overwhelm them. Despite the legends, they are not destroyed by sunlight, but their regeneration is slowed when the sun is at its zenith, allowing brave adventurers a fleeting opportunity to strike.
