Description
Godlings are mischievous woodland creatures resembling children, dwelling in burrows and hollow stumps near human settlements. They are guardians of joy and innocence, performing small services for those they watch over, especially children, in exchange for respect and offerings of food or discarded tools. Shy by nature, they prefer to remain unseen, and will abandon their homes if their territory becomes too crowded or if the inhabitants forget the old ways.
