Description
The Sutharil River snakes through Elswyre, marking the boundary between a harsh desert and a lush jungle. Its warm waters are said to hold ancient memories and strange magic, with eerie phenomena like speaking eels and glyph-etched lily-pads. The river never dries and is shrouded in local superstition about its moods and depths.
Appearance
A wide, winding river with shimmering silver waters that reflect the sky like a mirror. The banks sharply contrast: one side barren and sun-scorched desert, the other dense, vibrant jungle. At twilight, the river's surface flickers with strange, otherworldly reflections, sometimes showing alternate realities or mysterious figures.
