Weldyn Slums
The Weldyn Slums are a maze of dilapidated buildings and narrow alleyways, where the air is thick with the scent of refuse and desperation. Once a thriving district, it now serves as a refuge for the city's outcasts, filled with makeshift homes, street vendors, and the constant hum of whispered deals and hidden dangers.

Wesmere Forest
The ancient and sprawling Wesmere Forest is the heart of Elvish lands, a realm of towering trees, sun-dappled clearings, and hidden rivers. At its center, on a verdant island in the winding River Telfar, stands the Ka'lian — the great Elvish Council — where the most respected lords and ladies of the elves gather to debate and decide the fate of their people. Sunlight filters through the dense canopy, casting a soft glow on the forest floor, while the colors are muted and calming. The forest is a sanctuary of natural harmony, where deer graze peacefully and the rustling leaves feel like gentle sighs. Winding paths invite quiet reflection, and the air carries the subtle fragrances of damp earth and wildflowers, encouraging a slower pace. It is the oldest and most Majestic forest of Wesnoth.

Western Plains
The Western Plains serve as a vast expanse separating the eastern cities of Dan'Tonk and Weldyn from the western coastal cities of Elensefar, Aldril and Blackwater. Once the land of the elves, these plains were acquired by human settlers through diplomatic negotiations by King Haldric in the early years of Wesnoth.

Western Tower of the Ka'lian
The Western Tower of the Ka'lian is a majestic structure made of luminous stone, symbolizing wisdom and authority. Its architecture harmonizes with nature, featuring living vines and fragrant blossoms, while the interior boasts finely crafted furniture and tapestries celebrating elven heritage, serving as the residence of the High Speaker.

Westin
Westin is the capital of the frontier province of Kerlath in the southernmost part of Wesnoth. It is located southwest of Fort Tahn. Westin is known for its peaceful and calm atmosphere, often only disturbed by the occasional bandit. The South Guard, stationed to defend the city and surrounding area, faced banditry but not the more formidable orcish forces.

Yrullyn
Yrullyn is a quaint village nestled in the rolling hills southwest of Weldyn, known for its lush fields and friendly inhabitants. The village is a hub for local farmers and artisans, offering a warm welcome to travelers and a rich tapestry of community life.
